SSC SI & ASI (Delhi Police, CAPF, CRPF, CISF) Exam Eligibility Details: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF Examination Eligibility Details are given below.
Eligibility Conditions:
A. Nationality/ Citizenship: A candidate must be either:
(a) A citizen of India, or
(b) A subject of Nepal, or
(c) A subject of Bhutan, or
(d) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 01/01/1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) A person, who is of Indian origin and has migrated from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zaire, Malawi, Zambia, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention to permanently settling in India.
Furnished that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) given above shall be a person who have favour a certificate of eligibility, has been issued by the Govt. of India.
B. Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be between 20 to 25 years.
Note I: The upper age limit is relaxable for Central Government Civilian Employees as per extant Govt. order.

C. Essential Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree/ Graduation Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
2. For the post of SI (Sub Inspector) in Delhi Police only:- Male candidates must possess and also carry a valid Driving License for LMV (Light Motor Vehicle- Motor Cycle and Car) on the allotted date for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise they will not be permitted to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.

1. There shall be no minimum chest measurement requirement for Female candidates.
2. Relaxation in height and chest ( as the case may be ) as mentioned above will be permissible only on producing of certificate in the prescribed proforma.

F. Medical standard (For all posts):
Eye sight:
i. The minimum distant vision required should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without any correction i.e, without wearing of glasses.
ii. The candidate must not have flat foot, knock knee, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision.
iii. They must have good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect/ disability likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
