IBPS RRB Office Assistant Posts Eligibility Criteria: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will be conducting Online Common Written Examination (CWE) for post of Office Assistant in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). Candidates to get eligibility to appear for IBPS RRB exam must fulfill the eligibility criteria given below to apply for Office Assistant vacancies.
1. Nationality/ Citizenship: A candidate must be either:
(a) A citizen of India, or
(b) A subject of Nepal, or
(c) A subject of Bhutan, or
(d) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 01/01/1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) A person, who is of Indian origin and has migrated from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zaire, Malawi, Zambia, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention to permanently settling in India.
Furnished that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) given above shall be a person who have favour a certificate of eligibility, has been issued by the Govt. of India.
2. Age Limit (As on 01.07.2020):
Age must between 18 years and 28 years i.e, candidates should not be born before 02.06.1991 and not after 01.06.2001 (both dates inclusive).

4. Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the Office Assistant vacancies must have completed Degree/ Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or Institution and Proficiency in local language.
5. Language Proficiency – The candidates applying for the posts of Officer Assistant in any particular RRB or RRBs, must have knowledge of local language of the State/ UT in which the RRB is situated to be eligible for interview, as per the notification of the concerned RRBs.
