IBPS RRB Officer Scale I, II & III Posts Eligibility Criteria: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will be conducting Online Common Written Examination (CWE) for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). Candidates to get eligibility to appear for IBPS RRB exam must fulfill the eligibility criteria given below to apply for Officer vacancies-
1. Nationality/ Citizenship: A candidate must be either:
(a) A citizen of India, or
(b) A subject of Nepal, or
(c) A subject of Bhutan, or
(d) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 01/01/1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) A person, who is of Indian origin and has migrated from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zaire, Malawi, Zambia, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention to permanently settling in India.
Furnished that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) given above shall be a person who have favour a certificate of eligibility, has been issued by the Govt. of India.
2. Age Limit (As on 01/07/2020):
For Officer Scale- III: Age must above 21 years and below 40 years i.e, candidates should not be born before 03.07.1980 and not after 30.06.1999 (both dates inclusive).
For Officer Scale- II: Age must above 21 years and below 32 years i.e, candidates should not be born before 03.07.1988 and not after 30.06.1999 (both dates inclusive).
For Officer Scale- I: Age must above 18 years and below 30 years i.e, candidates should not should not be born before 03.07.1990 and not after 30.06.2002 (both dates inclusive).

4. Educational Qualification:
A. For Officers Scale I: Degree/ Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent and must have proficiency in local language and Computer knowledge or awareness will be an added qualification. Preference will be given to the candidates who possess degree in Forestry, Horticulture, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Information Technology, Management, Law, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Economics and Accountancy.
B. For Officers Scale II (General Banking Officer): Degree/ Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any Institution with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Those candidates will be given preference who acquiring degree in Agriculture, Management, Horticulture, Banking, Forestry, Marketing, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Animal Husbandry,Finance, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Veterinary Science, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
Experience: 2 years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institutions.
C. For Officers Scale II (Specialist Office):
(i) Information Technology (IT) Officer: Degree/ Graduation from a recognized University/ Institution in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Desirable: Certificate in ASP, C++, PHP, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc.
Experience: 1 year.
(ii) Chartered Accountant: Must be a Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Experience: 1 year.
(iii) Law Officer: Degree from a recognized University/ Institution in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Experience: 2 years as an advocate or should have worked as Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions for a period not less than 2 years.
(iv) Treasury Manager: Must be a Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or completed MBA in Finance from a recognized University/ Institution.
Experience: 1 year.
(v) Marketing Officer: MBA in Marketing from a recognized University/ Institution.
Experience: 1 year.
(vi) Agricultural Officer: Degree in Horticulture/ Agriculture/ Forestry/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Experience: 2 years.
D. For Officer Scale III: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institution with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Those candidates will have given preferred who acquiring Degree/ Diploma in Marketing, Management, Banking, Finance, Horticulture, Agriculture, Forestry, Pisciculture, Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
Note: All educational qualifications should be from a recognized University/ Institution.
5. Language Proficiency – The candidates applying for the posts of Officer Scale I in any particular RRB or RRBs, must have knowledge of local language of the State/ UT in which the RRB is situated to be eligible for interview, as per the notification of the concerned RRBs. (The condition does not applicable for the posts of Officer Scale II and III).
